Delete your account

Open Settings → Security → Delete account to request deletion. Account deletion applies to your Feldar account across devices, including your owned projects and private writing. It also stops active jobs and cancels a paid subscription.

Caution

Account deletion cannot be undone. Keep an independent copy of any writing you want to retain before confirming. Logging out is a separate action that leaves your account in place.

Desktop web and macOS

1. Open your profile menu and choose Settings → Security.
2. Select Delete account and read the confirmation.
3. Type DELETE exactly as shown; confirmation is case-sensitive.
4. Select Delete account to submit the request.

If Feldar asks for a recent sign-in, log out, sign back in, and return to this dialog. Cancel closes the dialog before submission.

Native iOS app

1. Open Settings from the Library, then choose Security.
2. Select Delete account and read the confirmation sheet and Privacy Policy.
3. Select Delete account to continue. The native app does not require you to type a confirmation word.
4. If verification is required, follow the email-code, password, Google, or Apple prompt offered for your account. Choose Verify and delete account when shown; successful verification completes the request without another confirmation sheet.

Apple-linked accounts require Apple authorization as part of this flow. Before submission, Cancel leaves your account in place.

After submitting

Feldar signs you out after accepting the request. Acceptance starts the deletion process; it does not mean every retained copy has already been erased. See the Privacy Policy for deletion and retention details.

If Feldar cannot confirm the result, follow the retry message. A connection error alone does not establish whether the request was accepted. Contact support if you cannot complete the flow.
