Accessibility
Feldar includes appearance, keyboard, and zoom controls that can make the writing workspace easier to use. This page describes available controls; it is not a statement of conformance with a particular accessibility standard.
Adjust the writing workspace
Section titled “Adjust the writing workspace”On desktop, open Settings > Preferences to change:
- Theme
- Font and font size
- Line height
- Left, center, right, or justified alignment
- Text width
The preview in Preferences shows the effect before you return to the editor. Settings is not available in mobile web, so use the phone’s display and browser controls there.
In the native iOS app, open Settings from the project library to change the app theme and editor typography. The native layouts also respond to iOS text-size and accessibility settings. See Mobile troubleshooting for device-specific help.
Zoom and full screen on macOS
Section titled “Zoom and full screen on macOS”The macOS app’s View menu provides zoom in, zoom out, reset zoom, and full screen. The web app can use the equivalent controls in your browser.
Keyboard use
Section titled “Keyboard use”Use Tab and Shift-Tab to move between interactive controls, then activate
buttons with Enter or Space. See Keyboard shortcuts
for Feldar-specific writing commands.
If focus becomes trapped or a control cannot be reached without a pointer, report the affected screen and action to support.
Status and errors
Section titled “Status and errors”Pay attention to the visible save status before leaving a draft. Validation and operation errors appear near the related control or workflow. If an error is not understandable with your assistive setup, include its exact text in your report.
