Page Drafting

Page drafting turns the scenes in your outline into prose. It follows the project’s page-and-scene structure: Feldar drafts pages from the scenes assigned to those pages.

Check that:

  • Every page you want to draft has at least one scene.
  • Scene titles and descriptions clearly describe the intended beats.
  • Relevant characters, locations, lore, and plot details are up to date on Canvas.
  • You have enough credits for the estimate shown in Outline.

Feldar warns you if a page is missing scenes. Pages that already contain writing are skipped unless you deliberately enable regeneration.

  1. Open Outline from the editor header.
  2. Review the scenes for the pages you want to draft.
  3. Select Draft Page.
  4. In Generation Settings, choose how many pages to generate.
  5. Leave Words per page on Auto, or turn Auto off and choose a target length.
  6. Review the page and credit estimate, then select Generate.
  7. Keep the project open while the progress panel shows the current drafting stage.

You can cancel before starting if the estimate or page selection is not what you expected.

Turn on Regenerate existing pages only when you intend to replace pages that already contain writing. The setting is off by default.

Generated pages are a draft. Read the result in context, check continuity between pages, and then use Rewrite, Checks, Lens, or Chat to revise it.
